Connect

The MCP server is a streamable HTTP endpoint:

GET, POST, and DELETE are all handled there. The server name is intangia, version 1.0.0.

Add It to a Client

Clients that support remote MCP and OAuth (Cursor, Claude) discover the authorization server. Point them at the URL. The token must be issued for https://app.intangia.co/mcp, not for /api/v1.

Sign in when the client opens the browser. Scopes are intangia:read, projects:write, and analyses:run. Details are in Authentication.

A call without a bearer token returns 401 and { "error": "unauthorized" }, with WWW-Authenticate pointing at /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp.

Tools

Tool results are JSON text. A failed tool sets the MCP error flag and returns { "error": "...", "status": 400 } when the failure has an HTTP status. An unexpected failure returns { "error": "Internal error" }. A missing scope returns { "error": "insufficient_scope: intangia:read" } (the scope name changes with the tool).

project_id is always a UUID from search_projects or list_projects. Passing a name returns an error that says so.

The same nouns as the API are in Concepts. Keep them apart: a signal is a Discover candidate, an opportunity is a scored verdict, and a report is a PDF of opportunities that are already scored.
